#LoungeDrink: The Non-Alcoholic WINE Down

After a long day of working hard or hardly you want to relax, relate, release. One of the most common ways that we do this is by indulging in an alcoholic beverage. A glass of wine can be a way to unwind and relieve stress. While we love a great glass of fine wine, we are also into better health and wellness. We found a drink that's alcohol free and a more healthy way to wind down and helps with insomnia. The active ingredients in this mocktail is magnesium and cherry tart. Both maganesium and cherry tart promote relaxation, improved mood and sleep quality. In addition, the mineral and the fruit possess anti-inflammatory properties and positive effects on heart health.


Over the weekend, I decided to try the "Sleepy Girl Mocktail" shared by @holisticrendezvous on Instagram and was pleasantly suprised by the results. Suprisingly, I was met with a euphoric feeling of relaxation and fell asleep in no time. Try the recipe below:


1/2 cup tart cherry juice

1 thumb ginger, microplaned

Juice of 1/2 lime

Orange zest

Sparkling water

2 oz coconut cream

1 tsp @woodenspoonherbs magnesium


Combine all ingredients except for the maganesium and coconut cream. Pour over ice. Then, mix together the maganesium and coconut cream and pour over the top! Try an orange zest sal rim and a dried lime slice for fancy decor!
